 regardless of in itself is overunity or free energy or not, the flyback is lots of energy, theoretically the same amount of energy as what goes into the coil, but saved up and stored in coil, and released all at once in a high voltage spike event of very very fast release and tension....my theory is faster than speed of light but that is my theory is all.
 To disregard this energy and snuff it out with a resistor is just not good idea if you are trying to make something run overunity or be free energy.....
 Coherence would come about with the flyback cohering with the actual inherent back emf forces....this can be done (I think) by putting a delay in time when the flyback/steering diodes connect....about 5 degrees delay like an echo...this lets the backemf forces get bottled up within coil and released in same direction as the flyback, both guided insame direction by the steering diodes....when these combine it is now not a spike going backwards, it is a very very strong force going backwards that can kill since combination of current and voltage...
