Check out the south to north water project that the Chinese built and some of the water would have to go uphill on the globe earth, that's quite a project.

2400 km = 1500 miles so the normal curvature of the earth would be 284 miles over that distance and a lot of uphill water flow, unless the water source is 284 miles above the lower end of the water course; they certainly know how to get things done in China.

No worries mate ..they crafted up with the one child policy I heard a decision on China and it seems that policy is going to end them there's a big gap in ages there almost all are old and are not have children the young are not ether to self absorbed ...so no replacement population ! In 50 years it will just be well not gone but as good as .they killed them selves.
