GeneI am pleased you have stopped in to visit again.Once in a while, we stumble on to a real gem. While not yet off the grid, yet, it is the goal that looks possible.Putting together a bunch of things ,that each in themselves, work a little, in a narrow band, in spite of complicated limitations, work. I am not going to launch the dinghy with a system that puts it down past the waterline, that will shock the crap out of me, while it takes up all the space in the little row boat, just to make a point.It is not a question. We absolutely can do systems that are self powering.Follow youtube links regarding free energy flywheel generators. It is surprising how many there are.Sure, there are jerks putting up fakes.Looking for fame? I don't know.Look at the whole phenomenon. Look at who is building these things, and what they are working with.They are not suburban folks with our idle hobby. They want refrigerators, motors turning, power tools turning, all in areas that this doesn't happen by paying a company bill every month.Look a Hector. Life has given him a golden opportunity to be a national hero, bringing power to the people.... except he seems to not like his people, enough to bust his ass, to get them free energy.Most small systems don't need transmission lines, once started.I have my 100lb flywheel turning rather smoothly, working with a concept I do not completely understand.You have an electric motor turning the flywheel which in turn turns a generator that.... Runs the electric motor... With energy to spare. Can this be credible?Check it out on these you tube links that go on, and on, in variety , country, circumstance, bare feet, dirt floors, hard to get bulky old generators, and clunky old electric motors, salvaged from mills and abandoned factories.I have traveled, and built all sorts of machines, in many places that hardly have anything except that which can be harvested, as the result of ruined factories abandoned by foreign companies hoping to exploit cheap labour, only to be defeated by nature, and a hostile landscape.This debris gets recycled, of course.Just because people are"poor" doesn't mean they are not just as smart as you, and I, and voraciously pursue every scrap of information, emerging from life's circumstances, to make life better.These videos reflect that, over, and over, showing, and communicating, to others, what they are doing.Some try to make money.Others are altruists, just sharing what they are doing.There are just so many in different circumstances and countries that as a whole, they are part of a phenomenon, that to ignore it, would be foolish.We ponder spending billions to refit a nuclear power plant here in Ontario, for something that we haven't a clue what to do with the waste, except drill it down below the worlds largest reservoir of frest water...duh!Alternative energy is not such an idle pursuit, it is a moral imperitive. I built a modified strobe prolly 8 years back now, also at the behest of hector... nevermind multiple rotoverter configurations, along with Hector who said he would help me get a 5kw st style genhead running with a 15hp baldor 3phase drive motor... spent a couple grand on parts and getting it all together and then Hector stopped interacting with me... hope it doesn't go like that for you. ;)
