Hi Kone,

In a normal motor the stator poles are fixed and the current is sinusoidal. Perhaps Pierre is rotating the field at full power and then sequentially shifting the poles instead of having the poles fixed and the current varying in a sine curve fashion like the normal way of doing it. Pierre's way is then a 6 phased 6-pole stator with the poles shifting places in small increments.

I modified your drawing to the attached animated gif showing how I think the poles are switched.
