The Pierre Cotnoir OU system is not that complicated - just lots of blinking lights.....basically he sequentially pulses the phases/coilwinds in that motor stator housing (I will assume it is a 3ph inductive motor stator housing)
And the way he pulses the stator winds is to do one, then the next then the next one after another all the way around so essentially the filed rotates because of how it is being pulsed (Ithis timed by the arduino)
Then this sequential rotating field induces into the big coil and core that he shoved into the middle of the stator/motor housing....and this makes power from the "sequential rotating transformer effectI" you could call it....
So most people know about the Thane Karl Heinz delayed lenz effect where you get no lenz law, in fact speed up of rotor at certain frequencies, and at certain inductance to the induced generator coils....(if not look it up I have posted videos of it working 30 times at least here)
So what you need to do, is have the pulse width and the freqiuency of rotation to the sequential pulses "just so" in order to get the Thane Karl Heinz delayed lenz effect form the rotating magnetic field whiriling arout that central core and inductor, so that there is no lenz law effect happening!
(think of the rotating sequential field as a rotating magnetic field in any sort of rotating generator)
So besides this, he has a row of steering diodes for every transistor that fires in that arduing-controlled sequence....
Anyways looks really good to me and no more complicated than your standard computer stuff too if someone wanted to manufacture it.
Just a whole lot of transistor relays and diodes - big deal - and once you program the arduino its programmed easy to copy the program...
To make it more simple, maybe rotating disc with hall effects and small motor that draws less than a watt for the timing, instead of arduino and have this control the transistors...
IN nutshell how I think it works is you fire transistor A, and recover backemf/recoil into cap, but before lenz law can manifest itself and cause extra draw to system, the next transistor B has now quickly fired, "in opposition" to lenz law force and so on and so on all the way around.....not only this but backemf/recoil is recovered after every single pulse, put into a respective cap. too...the backemf/recoil dollapsing field energy is already 100% lenz free so no problem with that either.....combine everything put it into the super cap bank then loop it see what you have left over which is quite a bit of power!
Anyways this is my opinion and ideas how it works in konehead world...
