Permanent Magnet rotor for alternator conversion

Hi all
 Here is a 14 magnet rotor below in link that can slip into a Delco car alternator, to make a permanent magnet rotored alternator...these made for windturbines they say....
 They have some others from that Missouri wind power company with slanted-magnets in the rotors, that is supposed to cut back on rotational cogging...
 Seems like you could pulse this 14 times per revolution (7 times each way) and it would be a great DC pulse motor, 
 perhaps it will run on 60hz grid AC if it is sfirst pun up to sinewave latch speed first (around  420rpm I will guess) since 4 magnet N-S rotor requires 1800rpm, 8 magnet N-S rotor requires 900 rpm 16 magnet N-S rotor requires 450rpm, and this is 17 magnets in rotor , so with extra magnets maybe around 420rpm something around there...
