 That video was filmed the day after I first met Bill Muller and he was 30 years ahead of me made my motors look like tinkertoy stuff.....what they did not film was the effect that a strong neodymium magnet held at just the right position has on the speed and power of my N-N coil powered motors which is something BM showed me....maybe 5 times the speed and power it can cause but that didn't get filmed....I made the audience laugh a few times that was good but I hate watching myself in that video I wish it would go away....
 I could charge lead acid batteries quite well is all I can say - bigger the better too... Idid a workshop after that video, 25 people made 25 konehead motors one person would get the charge battery to drop slightly while the run battery would charge that was strange...
 Those motors sent power through steel bearings instead of brushes, cores were steel elevator bolts coils were 22GA wire motors drew about 350ma you could adjust....I think there are some good effects from the N-N coil bucking as far as backemf/recoil goes in that it is stronger force as the mutual-corkscrew flux slam shoves it backwards in both coils harder, and "perhaps" the inherent backemf force comes through if the balance is just right (konehead theory)
 I haven't seen any difference between SS or NN for power but maybe there is I just have not seen it.
 What I did also with those motors (but not at this workshop)  is stack additional pickup generator winds behind the stator coils by wrapping them around elongated cores that stretch out backside of the coils so made extra power that way from normally-wasted flux going nowhere but  into atmosphere (backend of coil now does work), also the N-N coil power would shoot compressed flux out the sides of the coil-collision that I collected via "splatter coils" (llenz free) so there is some more power not normally harnessed.... I had 4 power outputs, the backemf/recoil through steering diodes, (FWBR I used), the splattery coil energy, the induced pickup coil energy, then the shaft power too not so bad altogether...
