i am into metric tons of stuff , and hurricane took care of at least 50 metric tons of it that went to the trash heap ( adding to what my dead father left that was destroyed by wind & water ) today i was on cleaning detail , removing last portions of rat shit logged acoustic roof panels from one of the building sections ....
Your movers sure were intrinsically detailed even paper wrapped your lathe metal shavings .... LOL ! reminds me of a documentation customer that requested a 2 by 2 M box for us shipping one 2MM screw well we send him the screw in the center of a 2 meter by 2 meter box on a wooden pallet
C.O.D as he requested ....
It took him 4 men and a week to find the screw within all the foam beans we compacted in that box ...( the screw inside an small plastic bag with a humidity dissecant pad .) outside pasted to the box papers in triplicate with the screw engineering military specifications ... we did that because he complained we needed to follow his specific orders on shipping on every detail, after looking at that order ... something evil took over me ....
well its the mans request 2x2 M ( meter ) box as the order states , (no question asked ) its a military subcontractor order they know what they are doing .... he got hot water scalded alive for that one .... evidently we got no more complaints from him anymore ..."we did our job as specified" ...

It was sitting on my office desk still addressed and ready to send out when the movers came to my place and removed everything I owned and packed it in hundreds of cardboard boxes, loaded with newsprint and wraped to death in tape.
My full time job here in the rural country is mining cardboard. The boxes are from floor to ceiling in leaky unheated garages. Fortunately it is today -30C so no water drips coming in and the sun is clear and bright. Many boxes are full of crap from my studio, that was not edited before I left. I unwrap miles of newsprint only to find shavings lovingly wrapped up in newsprint from my metal lathe tray..
Everything is here ok, and if my brother in law comes up from the states for another weekend of room painting I'll send it with him to mail in the States.
I haven't found it yet, but today found the computer printer, so it must be in a box near that strata, in that garage, since it was on that desk.
We had 3 weeks to move out of two places. I had an unbelievable amount of shit stored, like some crazy hoarder.
It was the result of forty years of having to pull bunnies out of a hat, for tomorrow, or maybe a day, or two, before.
So Hector, hang in there, it will arrive, just a little later than tomorrow.

This is my 450 lb 3 phase transformer that has made the move, and has been unpacked and carried into the stone barn which I am to use for my experimental studio.
I have been lucky with a break in the weather, allowing me to drag home this 2 ton machine from 5 hours away from here. We are expecting another blizzard.

The whole machine is driven by one hydraulic pump, which is turned by a 3 cylinder Mitchibushi diesel.
It runs fine but can be replaced by an electric motor.
Many of our over unity devices are not very flexible regarding loading.
Thos concept might be an answer.
You load a hydralic system to a particular pressure, which is stored in an accumulator tank.
That way, the engine and pump run at a fixed load and rpm, while the rest of the machine is meeting periodic demands of the load
This solves an issue with anyone wanting to set their RV tuning and leave it that way.
As far as the machine goes, I'm just a little guy, and have a lot of 500 lb stones that my place is built from. I am building a hydraulic lower jaw on the bucket called a "thumb" so I can grab on to rocks and debris, fixing this place up.
While learning to drive it, I am unpacking my energy gear.
Today, I am going to try to move a big cast iron flywheel over to the stone studio. This is sure better than using a block and tackle and crow bars, dragging stuff up from my basement storage back inToronto.
I can't dig any trenches to put in power lines connecting the buildings until the frost is out of the ground. In the meantime, I can get everything ready between snowstorms.
With a little luck and a flimsy extention cord, maybe one of these days, I won't need grid power.
