It can be heard in Norman Shah Afridi's video that when shorting the wires from the generator that it actually does sound like it gives off pulses or cycles in the kHz range. Also Tariel Kapanadze's mechanical flywheel device https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3thvqFhFIfY is driven by pulses which are clearly heard even when powered by the small 9V battery used for startup.

The comment from Kurt Gminder below the article mentions that Reynolds number has something to do with this kind of energy. Short pulses when short enough makes water hard as concrete he mentions. The same applies to air when exploding dynamite or C4. The air can't move away fast enough and seems solidified for a brief moment.

 It is not new. Variations have persisted for at least twenty years, that I know.
 What strikes me, this video, and the adjacent youtube videos are all machines, by guys really trying to do their best.
 The all seem proud of their productions, having painted them, and presenting the devices in the very best manner they know how.
 The careful attention to the suggestion of fraud from some hidden wire tries to be dealt with. I am not sure about this.
 Yet this basic theme of a device using a flywheel keeps persisting in videos and for that manner, in print going back to Bedini's book showing pictures of such a device at the 1990's energy conference in Colorado. The maker of such a working device from this show was claimed to be killed, (which people seem to like to do in United States cowboy states, with competition.)
 Anyway, it looks super easy to replicate, with materials on hand, if only one knew what exactly they are using for motors and generators, and if off the shelf 120 volt 60 hz stuff could be used if , in fact, they are doing AC?
 Do any of you know these motors to look at them? There must be some generic versions, or types we can use for a quick experiment to see if this technique is another keeper.
