The idea as a final solution is certainly optimal, but as long as I keep screwing around it will be a huge mess. laughing

I have now mounted an even larger passive cooler for the thyristors. the last small diode 100 ampere diode replaced by a 180 ampere thyristor diode. The return diodes have always been particularly hot I have replaced by 200 ampere thyristor diodes.

Thyristor diode means that I use the built-in diode in the thyristor only as a high power diode, these modules are cheaper than single diodes in the power class. I have now arranged the cooler so that a fan all can flow through with air.

The whole thing is experimental and has to be changed again and again.

The tolerances make me worry much more. The high-power elements have my view lower tolerances as the small diodes but they are still at kapp less than one percent. Diodes to find exactly the same I have not found yet. To adjust the capacity I imagine easier by switching small capacitors in parallel and adjust the inductance by winding itself is still feasible.

I have here still 3x Micrometals T400 26D cores lie if the are useful as a reactor in Diodeplug mode?

Here are a few pictures of the new configuration and the transformer cores that I want to wrap myself, each weighing 1.5 kg.
